1. Lower Mic Gain
On the X32, select the channel with the mic.
Press the "SELECT" button for that channel.
Use the gain knob (top-left) to reduce the preamp gain. Too much gain = higher chance of feedback.
2. Use EQ to Notch Problem Frequencies
Select the mic channel.
Press "SELECT", then go to the EQ section.
Sweep the mid-frequency band (narrow Q) and lower the gain to cut the problem frequency.
Use RTA (Real-Time Analyzer) on the X32 to identify feedback peaks quickly.
3. Use a High-Pass Filter (HPF)
On the mic channel, enable the HPF to cut low-end rumble that can cause low-frequency feedback.
4. Check Speaker and Mic Placement
Keep microphones behind speakers or monitors, never pointing at them.
Use directional mics (like cardioid) and aim null points toward the monitors

Applying Effects (FX):
1. Select channel with “Select” button.
2. Use “Sends on Fader” and adjust FX faders.

Fixing Mic/Instrument Dropouts:
· - Check the Gate:
1. Select the channel > Gate tab.
2. Adjust “Threshold” left to open the gate and stop cutting.
· - Check cables: Replace bad XLR or ¼” cables if needed.
